Care Instructions

Sterling silver and stone-set jewelry should be treated with care to preserve its shine and keep the settings looking beautiful.

Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, cosmetics, household cleaners, chlorine and other chemicals. We recommend putting your Santorini Society Earrings on after applying beauty products and removing them before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.

Although 925 sterling silver is a precious metal, natural tarnishing can occur over time when silver is exposed to air, moisture and certain chemicals. This is normal and does not mean the jewelry is damaged. Gently polish the silver with a soft jewelry polishing cloth when needed.

To protect the simulated turquoise cabochons, avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemical jewelry dips. Do not scrub the stones. Instead, gently wipe the earrings with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them thoroughly.

Because the earrings contain multiple stone settings, avoid dropping them or allowing them to knock against hard surfaces. When you're not wearing them, store them clean, completely dry and separately from other jewelry in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to help prevent scratching, tarnishing and damage to the stones.
