Why We Named It Periptero

If you've spent time in Greece, you know the periptero (περίπτερο).

These iconic neighborhood kiosks are tucked into streets and squares throughout Greece, stocked with all the little necessities—and, of course, the snacks you grab when you're on the go.

A packaged croissant from the periptero is one of those simple, nostalgic Greek treats that takes us straight back to everyday life in Greece. So instead of giving this charm a fancy name, we named it after exactly where we'd go looking for the real thing.

Care Instructions

Although your Periptero Croissant Charm is made to be durable and waterproof, a little care will help keep its gold finish and sparkle looking beautiful.

Avoid prolonged contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, harsh cleaning products, chlorine and other chemicals. After wearing, gently wipe the charm with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils or residue. If needed, clean it with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.

Avoid abrasive jewelry cleaners and polishing cloths intended for solid precious metals, as these can affect plated finishes. When you're not wearing your charm, store it separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box to help prevent scratching.
